People Tracking

The people tracking module uses a Sick LMS110 Lidar.

It enables the following of a leader without any markers on the tracked person. It is robust to field accidents (potholes, slopes, …) and to weather and environment conditions (rain, sun, shadows, …).

The leader can walk, run, turn around or crouch.

The module was delivered to the DGA (Direction Générale de l’Armement) as part of its MiniroC robot fleet (infantryman robot assistance in urban fight).
