CityVip – Urban Autonomous Vehicle
CityVip is an ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche) Project.
In this project, we worked for the INRIA (Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique). They created a vehicle localization algorithm based on a camera ring embedded in a vehicle.
The project purpose is to use this algorithm in parallel with others, developed by others partners in order to make a vehicle move autonomously in a city.
We implemented the computer architecture designed by the project’s architect. This architecture (and its implementation) had to be highly modular in order to preserve the algorithms interoperability.
In this project, the AROCCAM middleware (from Effidence company) was used.
